Back in March, when I was on Spring Break from school, Jason and I wanted to get out of town. He had been working 7 days a week, 12+ hr days since December and I really needed a break from an intense semester at school. We left around 5am on Saturday, at least we tried...We ended up with a vehicle that would not start! We resolved to not let it ruin our trip so we fixed the issue and off we went. We made amazing time and got to San Diego around lunch time. We had the best BBQ at a top rated Yelp! restaraunt that just happened to be right across the street from our hotel.
After that we visited Presidio park and rolled down the grassy hills. Then we all took a nap!
When we woke up we drove to Mission Bay and had ice cream! Bristol loved chasing all of the seagulls and getting really dirty in the sand. We learned, sand + ice cream= A BIG STICKY MESS!
There was way too much ice cream and no one could finish.
