I really didn't want to get a Christmas tree this year because I felt that it would just be a constant battle keeping her from gagging on pine needles not to mention the lights. Jason talked me into it though. There is just something about having a real live Christmas tree in our home that makes me excited to get up in the morning and see all the sparkling lights. Not to mention the fact that it smells divine.
As you can see, Baby Bear had a blast!
The best part about picking our tree is the fact that we got the "Bristol Discount". I know what you are thinking...I've never heard of that before, well that is because the only way you can get it is if your daughter happens to be Bristol Elizabeth Clawson. This old lady at the tree lot asked to hold her because she said she missed her grandchildren. I was being picky in the tree department so she got to hold her for a while. I wanted a $25, 5' or smaller tree and it had to be full and absolutely not a Douglas Fir (they shed and dry out too fast). Well just as it was looking that we would not find a tree...the lady said that we could have a $40 noble fir for $25! She said it was the "Bristol Discount". I was so glad because I really didn't want to go to another lot. Thanks Bristol!
Bristol was trying to figure out what the heck the tree was...
