Trip to New Mexico

We rolled over 20,000miles! and we haven't even had our car a year, and it started out with only 116, HOLY COW! Canyon de Chelly (pronounced "shay") was really neat, it was like a driving tour...you drive a little, then get out and walk to a cliff and see some dwellings then drive a little and do the same thing over again...different.
Our very last stop was to go camping with Jason's parents and his older brother at the Mogollon Rim, it was BEAUTIFUL! and even with all of the wild fires going on, we still got to have a fire at our camp site which was nice.

After the reception in NM we visited a few more Nat'l Pa
rks and Monuments some we loved and others we will probably never see again. This one to the left is Aztec Ruins...they are awesome! You get to walk right through all of the old ruins, definatly a must see. The one below, the Petrified Forest...what can I say, it is a bunch of petrified wood, BORING!

The wigwam we found on the old Route 66, and we think they used it as a model for the movie Cars.
and THe picture were we look like we are dying, that is Tonto Nat'l Mon. It was interesting to see, the only problem is that you have to hike up the steepest mountain ever just to get there...not to mention we went on a day that was about 107 degrees...
